TENTAC's environmentally friendly packaging "hazai nano"Orders for 10 million pieces already received.Aiming for 100 million pieces in a few years.
Tentac, whose main products are tags, labels and packaging, has seen an increase in orders for its environmentally friendly packaging "hazai nano", which went on sale in December 2023.
The company has already received orders for 10 million pieces and its goal is to "stably obtain orders for 100 million pieces" in a few years.hazai nano is a 100% recycled polyethylene package developed by the company in collaboration with a major film manufacturer.Scrap materials generated in film production and bag making, are collected and pelletized to be recycled as polyethylene.
Although it is generally difficult to ensure the quality of recycled film, the company was able to achieve high transparency through joint development with a manufacturer that has its own factory. The company has also obtained GRS (Global Recycling Standard) Certification.
hazai nano is GRS certified.
The two main applications are transportation bags and product packaging.Since it is possible to realize "local production for local consumption" of raw material procurement and production in China, also to introduce recycled materials at a relatively low cost, there have been many inquiries about the use of these bags for transporting apparel products from sewing factories in China to Japan. The transparency and strength of the product are also supported, also "demand for use as product packaging is higher than expected".
The company has also gained orders from underwear manufacturers etc.The company also offers a range of packages that use Green Nano CO2 Off, a technology that reduces carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions during incineration. With the launch of hazai nano, "we have expanded our options for each of our clients' needs".
hazai nano is "suitable for global sales" from the perspective of the circular economy and will focus on sales promotion activities with a view to expanding production bases and sales to Europe.
